Heather Nicholas graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism and English. She attended Mississippi College School of Law thereafter, and became a member of the Mississippi Bar Association in September of 2013. Heather is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Mississippi. During law school, she externed for the Honorable E.J. Russell at the Mississippi Court of Appeals, where she assisted in researching all areas of law and drafting judicial opinions. In addition, she externed for the Hinds County Youth Court and served as a student attorney for the Mississippi College School of Law Adoption Clinic during law school.
Heather has continued to focus her practice in representing individuals in divorce, child custody, and modification actions. She has appeared before municipal courts, youth courts, and chancery courts in Rankin County, Hinds County, Madison County, Yazoo County, and in her hometown of Simpson County. She has also has experience in motor vehicle accidents and workers’ compensation claims.
Heather resides in Jackson, MS with her husband, John. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and visiting with friends and family.
